WHERE DOES ISLAND BREAKOUT TAKE PLACE?
Kavos Beach, which is a seaside area of Kavos. Kavos is the most popular party destination on the island of Corfu, Greece, and is approximately 1 hours drive away from Corfu Airport
WHEN IS ISLAND BREAKOUT?
Wednesday 23rd June 2021 to Monday 28th June 2021 (last event is on the night of Sunday 27th June 2021 which runs into the early morning of the 28th)
WHAT IS THE AGE RESTRICTION?
All attendees must be 18+.
WHERE DO I COLLECT MY WRISTBAND FROM?
Wristbands will be collected in Kavos. You will be emailed full details of collection points and times much closer to the event, upon full completion of payment.
I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND ISLAND BREAKOUT, CAN I GET A REFUND?
All payments (deposits, instalments and full payments) are non-refundable and non-transferable as per our Terms & Conditions.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND?
Wristbands are non-replaceable, so if you lose it, you will have to pay the full current price for one. Please make sure you take care of them responsibly.
WHAT TIMES DO ISLAND BREAKOUT EVENTS RUN?
Most days have 2 events, 1 day time and 1 night time. Full details and event times will be provided much closer to Island Breakout. Keep up to date by signing up to the mailing list and following us on instagram @IslandBreakout
WHEN WILL THE ACTS BE ANNOUNCED?
Acts are released periodically throughout the year
I’VE PAID MY DEPOSIT, NOW WHAT?
You will receive an email from us which includes a link called "Make A Payment" to pay your instalments. The instalment payments are there for your benefit and designed to help financially. Take advantage of the payment structure and book your flights as soon as you see a deal on your preferred airline!
WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY BY?
Instalment payments are spread across two or three monthly payments due on the 1st of each month. If you’ve made deposits please make sure you actively check for emails from email@example.com for a payment confirmation.
HOW DO I MAKE INSTALMENT PAYMENTS?
CAN I PAY OFF MY INSTALMENTS EARLY?
HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY WILL I NEED?
Kavos, compared to most other party destinations is CHEAP. Once you’ve landed, you will only need to pay to pay for food and drink, Everything else is included. Expect to pay 1 to 3 euros for a beer, and 3-5euros for a spirit and mixer. You will have the option for branded drinks, or the local drinks (and their generous measures).
HOW MUCH WILL FOOD COST ME IN KAVOS?
Most meals are roughly between 7 – 12 Euros.
ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?
WHAT AIRPORT DO WE FLY TO?
Corfu. No other airport is close to Corfu so ensure you do not select any other Greek airport (it’s about 3hrs flying time from UK to Corfu). Athens offer connecting flights to Corfu (Approx flying time is 1 hour).
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Our first event takes place at 8pm on Wednesday 23rd June 2021 so we would recommend you to book a flight landing before 5pm as it takes about 90 minutes to get from Corfu Airport to Kavos. Our last event will take place on Sunday 27th June 2021, so you should fly back home on Monday 28th June 2021
HOW MANY EVENTS ARE THERE?
Most days will have at 2 events (Day time & Night time)
DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR EVENTS?
All standard events are included in your package. Events not included are VIP parties or boat parties announced, which will be additional. Apart from this, you will only need spending money for food and drink only (and even that is cheap compared to other party destinations).
WHERE ARE THE EVENTS TAKING PLACE?
All events take place on the 'Kavos Beach' strip, and all events are within walking distance of each other
WHEN WE WILL KNOW WHAT EVENTS ARE ON & WHERE?
We will email you a full schedule before the event. You will also be given a physical copy of the schedule on collection of your wristband in Kavos, & in doubt, there will be reps available on call!
I CAN’T MAKE THE FULL 5 DAYS, CAN I STILL COME ALONG?
HOW DO I GET TO THE EVENTS?
Most events are walking distance from our resort, and are on the Kavos strip which isn't more than a 5 minute walk. We will provide transportation for any events that are not within walking distance.
HOW DOES ROOM SHARING WORK?
I'M BOOKING MY OWN ACCOMMODATION, WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND?
We advise booking anything within the "Kavos Beach' area, as all events will be taking place on the Kavos Strip.
I'VE BOOKED A PACKAGE - WHAT’S MY ACCOMMODATION LIKE?
All rooms are of 3* quality, all rooms have fridges, en-suite bathrooms & toilets, and either a balcony or patio. We offer twin & triple bedrooms, and there are extremely limited quadruple bedrooms available. Our accommodation is in the heart of all the action (maximum 5 minutes walk from each event).
IS IT HALF BOARD?
No – room only. There will be options to upgrade if you would like.
WHEN IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is on Wednesday 23rd June from 3PM. Check out is Monday 28th June by 12PM.
WHAT IF I ARRIVE BEFORE CHECK IN?
No problem, leave your luggage with us at our meeting point.
I'D LIKE TO STAY FOR LONGER?
This is possible. Once you have booked your package, please email firstname.lastname@example.org immediately and we can sort this out for you; there will be an additional cost per person per night.
DOES THE RESORT INCLUDE BREAKFAST?
No - But is purchase-able at reception for 5-8 Euro per person per day
WHAT DETAILS DO I NEED TO CHECK INTO THE RESORT?
The lead booker can only check-in with valid Government ID
IS THERE WI-FI?
Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas at the resort, but we're pleased to let you know that any 3G you have on your phone will work in Kavos at no extra cost thanks to new European laws
HOW HOT IS IT IN KAVOS?
Generally the weather in Kavos is usually around 28 degrees celsius
WHAT CURRENCY DO I USE?
The official currency used is Euro, which you can acquire at the post office, bank, or Bureau de Exchange.
ANY OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION?
WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR THE SAFETY OF ATTEENDEES?
At Island Breakout, there will be temperature checks on entry and hand sanitizers available in various locations, as well as our general health and safety measures. These measure have been put in place to ensure peace of mind during this time.
ARE THERE SAFETY/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR GREECE?
You must complete an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24 hours before your arrival in Greece. Your airline will ask you to prove that you have completed the PLF form. You should print or show (e.g. on your phone) your email confirming submission of the form (or the QR code you have subsequently received). Failure to do so could result in you being refused boarding to the flight.
IS GREECE SAFE TO TRAVEL TO?
Corfu has been listed as one of the top safe holiday destinations worldwide for 2020. The Greek state has taken all necessary measures on time to prevent the spread of the virus. Thus, the number of cases of the corona virus has been satisfactorily limited, allowing us to feel safe and optimistic.
